Sally at a Mom Heart Conference
We already have Mom Heart Conferences for 2013 scheduled in CO (Jan. 18-19), CA (Feb. 1-2), and TX (Feb. 15-16), but we are considering a fourth Mom Heart Conference in 2013 on March 1-2 (tentative date). We need to gauge the potential support in an area before we choose a location and sign a contract with a hotel. If you are in or near a target state (NC, GA, PA, IN, or OR), you can help us by filling out a quick, 5-question survey. For the future, what about Pittsburgh? From the Univ of Pitt site for parents: “Located halfway between New York City and Chicago, Pittsburgh is within a two-hour flight or a day’s drive of more than 70 percent of the U.S. population and 50 percent of the Canadian population. ” And I’d be here to help organize!!

I was completely overjoyed to see IN on the list! While living in CA I attended a conference and loved it! We moved to Indiana a year ago and I was so bummed I could no longer attend your conferences. I would love if you chose Indianapolis! I have met many moms who I would encourage to attend. And if you need any help, let me know!

Sally: Oh how I wish that you would consider a Northern CA conference!!! You’ve got a HUGE following up here especially since there are SO MANY homeschooling families :0) The owner of our local homeschooling bookstore in Roseville told me that he can’t keep your books stocked…they sell out as fast as he gets them on the shelf. Would it be a possibility to alternate one year in Southern CA, then the next year in Northern CA? I attended your conference in Irvine a couple years ago and LOVED it! I’m planning to come again this Feb, but have so many friends here that ask if you’ll come NORTH! We love you!!
We have a large homeschool community in Northern California and would love for you to consider coming here sometime….maybe 2014?
For many of us going to Southern California is a huge cost and we always talk about how we wish we could go….You are wonderful and we have so enjoyed doing your Bible studies. Thank you for your ministry!

Oh, please come to Indy!!! I just moved to Illinois from Dallas and never had the opportunity to attend there–so I thought I’d missed my chance for good! While the cost of airfare would prevent me from going back to Dallas, I’d gladly drive several hours to get to Indy. So excited for the possibility!
I’d love to bring new friends here in Illinois with me!

My husband even emailed you last week with an unusual request about winning teacher of the year… I am so humbled and encouraged by your response!!! Thank you thank you!! Canada (Ontario/ Quebec) would be awesome to come for a conference. Definitely alot of homeschool / stay – at – home moms that I know would a mom conference
I live 60 miles from Indy (just off the Interstate) and I know a woman who has been interested in having you come to this area. She said one of the very large churches in the area would have plenty of room for a conference.
Let me know if you are interested and I’ll give you her e-mail address. I had told her before I’d let you know should you be interested in this area. She is still involved in the large homeschool community in the area.
I saw her son at C.’s wedding, he is finishing a community college degree but still very interested in being salt and light in the acting community. I told him he should contact your son. His parents made a deal with him, he could follow his acting dreams as long as he first learned a practical skill.
I sure hope it’s in Indy! I came from Michigan last year to the CA one and it was a huge blessing but also a huge expense with plane tickets and all of that. We northerners would love something out in our direction. I’d easily make that drive!

Oh Sally, I know Kentucky is not one on the areas listed, but I would love to have something close to eastern KY. I think I have read before you have a sweet friend in KY, maybe that’s another reason to consider having one here!
I am not in the states right now but If I were I would say Oregon!!!! Any chance you could come to Australia??? We’ll still be here for a few more years. Lots of Homeschooling wholehearted Mums here!

How about Harrisburg or Hershey Pennsylvania? Central Pa is our “bible belt” between Philly and Pittsburg and is easier to travel to from all over the state. Plus we have excellent resorts and conference centers, imho.

We had a wonderful group of moms reading your Ministry of Motherhood study together last summer. I just pulled it out last week to re-read and it has been blessing me again all week. Keep up the Kingdom work!

Which city in Texas will your February conference be located? Texas is a VERY big state so even though I live in Texas, travel could be an issue due to the current state of my family’s finances. Thanks!

PLEASE come out north!!! I use to live in TX and almost made it to the last conference, but it was right around the time we decided to move up to Michigan!! Chicago is also a great city … I could bring my family, and they could explore while I attend the conference. I love the family friendliness of such a big city as Chicago. But, IN would be definitely closer too. Please!
